HONEY BEE YARD

Well we are almost done with the yard for our honey bees. Yesterday Janice and I worked on the fence between the horse paddock and the bee yard. It's complete except for installing woven hog wire to the back side and it looks pretty good, if I do say so myself. It was nice to be able to reuse a gate that was on the place when we moved in thirteen years ago.
The rails on the fence are two by eight pressure treated wood.
In this picture and the last, you can almost see the Honey Bee Hives.
From the bottom you can see the hives better. Right now they are painted two shades of green, although we plan on painting some camouflage onto them, in the future. If you look up at the horse barn Flash and Dancer are watching to make sure I get some good pictures.
Uh-Oh, someone is coming, we'd better watch them and make sure they aren't a threat.
